Kathmandu airport operation almost normally

The Tribhuvan international airport in Kathmandu is open and working almost normally.

International flights are arriving and departing. Some delays are however to be expected. The Embassy recommends travellers to contact their airline for any possible delays.

Access to the Kathmandu airport has been restricted for heavy aid airplanes due to the poor condition of the runway.
