
The Finnish Embassy in Kathmandu is functioning and working around the clock. The main function of the Embassy is to reach the 27 Finnish citizens who are missing and to help all Finnish citizens in Nepal.
The Embassy urges all Finnish citizens in Nepal to remain calm, to follow local media sources and to increase their water and food storage, if possible. The Embassy advices people to stay in their homes or their accommodation.
Kathmandu airport is not functioning normally as priority is given to aid flights. Commercial flights are given landing and take off permission only occasionally.
