Vilma Timonen Quartet brings the ancient sound of Kantele to Nepal

Vilma Timonen Quartet combines the ancient sound of the traditional finnish instrument Kantele and contemporary folk music. The band's repertoire is a synthesis of compositions of Vilma Timonen and a collection of traditional melodies adapted by the Quartet.

In January 2016 the Quartet will be performing in six different occasions in Kathmandu and in Pokhara:

• Wednesday 6.1.2016, International Club, Sanepa, Lalitpur, 7 - 9 PM. Vilma Timonen Quartet and Kanta dAb, dAb 9 - 10 PM Zero Mile
• Friday 8.1.2016, Gig at the House of Music, Thamel, Kathmandu
